Wool felt
Wool felt is made from pure new wool, i.e. sheared wool from living sheep. The wool yarn is first knitted into a loose fabric, then comes the important part of “fulling”: the wool is pressed in warm water, moved and rubbed together. The wool fabric shrinks by 20-60% and a thicker structure with air inclusions is created, which make the fabric warm and temperature-balancing.
