Luis Trenker Outdoor Experience
A guided hike through history
Together in the footsteps of Luis Trenker to the most beautiful places in Val Gardena:
rustic Rasciesa forest, flower-filled alpine meadows, rugged rocky peaks and crystal-clear mountain streams.
Our programme for the day:
- 9:00 AM meeting point at the Luis Trenker Shop in Ortisei (Via Rezia 33b), followed by a small breakfast at the bar of the Hotel Adler
- 9:30 AM departure to the Luis Trenker monument on the Luis Trenker Promenade, visit the Trenker family tomb and then train ride to the mountain restaurant Chalet Raschötz offering panoramic views of the Dolomites
- 10:30 AM circular hike with lunch on the Raschötz with an insight into the history of Luis Trenker, told by hiking guide Max
- 3:30 PM descent to Ortisei
- 4:00 PM visit of the Museum in Ortisei with the Luis Trenker legacy
- 5:00 PM Ending our day with an aperitif and a small gift, as well as a shopping voucher for the Luis Trenker Shop in Ortisei
