Check pattern
This print, designed exclusively for Luis Trenker, combines different check patterns – primarily classic tartan and flannel checks – in various sizes and directions. The individual fabric sections appear to be randomly assembled, creating a deliberately irregular, collage-like look: this results in an exciting, dynamic effect with a workwear character. The dominant colours are burgundy and dark blue, which are broken up by accents in white and lighter shades of blue.
Paisley
The cashmere print, also known as paisley, combines delicate tendrils, delicate flowers and decorative lines and is one of the most traditional ornaments in textile history.
It originated in Persia and India: the pattern arrived in Europe in the 18th and 19th centuries via precious cashmere shawls and became particularly popular in the Scottish town of Paisley, which ultimately gave the ornament its name.
Herringbone pattern
The compact and robust structure of this pure cotton fabric combines durability with a pleasantly soft, natural feel, ensuring high wearing comfort and good breathability. The herringbone pattern has its origins in traditional European weaving and has been used since the 19th century, primarily for work and hunting clothing. It exudes timeless elegance and is an integral part of classic men's fashion.
