Soft Cord
Unparalleled in its softness, surprisingly durable and unmatched style: The broad Trenker corduroy, which is an integral part of every winter collection, has always been one of our favorite materials.
The raised ribs form a typical feature of corduroy. Initially, the ribs are tightly closed on the top of the fabric during weaving. It is only when these ribs are cut open that corduroy acquires its typical velvety surface.
Finest suede leather
This type of leather, made from the underlying layer of animal hides, is known for its velvety feel and matte appearance. Compared to smooth leather, suede is softer and characterized by its breathable and sweat-absorbing properties. For our Luranda we have used the finest goat suede.
Printed velvet
Velvet is a fabric with a short pile and silky shimmer, which is created by a special weaving technique. The precious fabric was once reserved for the aristocracy only. For Fall/Winter 2023, we printed our velvet with an extravagant patchwork design reminiscent of an intricately woven oriental carpet. It was designed exclusively for Luis Trenker, which is recognizable by the recurring initials "LT" and the geometric ethnic elements, which form a link to the collection theme of the style of the Native Americans.
