Michi Klemera - the man behind the brand
Michi Klemera founded the fashion and lifestyle brand Luis Trenker 30 years ago: Presenter Verena Duregger asked the charismatic visionary 30 questions to get to know him better and shed light on the highs and lows of his professional and private life.

Johanna Klemera - the next generation
She is the daughter of Luis Trenker Managing Director Michi Klemera and is now firmly involved in collection development and all strategic company decisions: In conversation with presenter Verena Duregger, Johanna Klemera talks about the role of women in the fashion industry, the challenges of running a family business and her dad's (endearing) quirks.
3rd Episode
Manfred Mölgg - The South Tyrolean ski legend
With 20 podium places, 3 World Cup victories and 3 World Championship medals in slalom, he is considered one of the most successful ski racers South Tyrol has ever had. In an interview with Michi Klemera, with whom he has been friends for many years, he reveals his highs and lows, reveals his personal recipe for success and explains how he gets his adrenalin today.

They are store managers with heart and soul - and as ‘Sorelle’ (German for sisters) they are one heart and one soul: Magdalena Hainz and Philipp Egger are united by their home in South Tyrol, their passion for fashion and a long-standing friendship. In conversation with presenter Verena Duregger, the two reveal why they didn't like each other at all at the beginning, how they often slip into the role of psychologists as salespeople and how their career start with Luis Trenker gave their lives a 180° turn.

For over 18 years, he has captivated millions as the “Bergdoktor” – but Hans Sigl is much more than just an actor. As a cabaret artist, presenter, and entertainer, he also impresses live on stage. In conversation with presenter Verena Duregger and Luis Trenker CEO Michi Klemera, he speaks openly about his life beyond the camera: about patchwork families, celebrity routines, and personal rituals – with plenty of charm, depth, and surprising insights, even his most loyal fans didn’t know.

For over 30 years, she has been a passionate host at Hotel Jungbrunn in the Tannheimer Valley in Tyrol – one of Europe’s leading hideaways. Ulrika Gutheinz, originally from Hesse, was once a model and found her true calling in the world of hospitality. She shares a close friendship and a love for fashion with Michi Klemera, a bond that has lasted for decades. In conversation, the two relive shared memories and reflect on life-changing moments, generational shifts, and everything else that moves them.

Jan Stroh - The Millionaire
He invested over 15 years of his life in preparing for his big appearance on ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?’ and even built his own quiz studio in the basement. In 2019, Jan Stroh's dream finally came true: the Hamburg native finally sat opposite Günther Jauch and even cracked the million in the end. In this interview, he reveals what he did with his sudden windfall, how many marriage proposals he received after the programme and why Luis Trenker fashion, of all things, has filled almost his entire wardrobe for some time now.

Marianne Grasegger - The Master of traditional dress
For over 40 years, Marianne Grasegger has been at the helm of one of Bavaria’s most traditional fashion houses, alongside her husband, Thomas. For 30 of those years, Luis Trenker has been a staple in her collection. Marianne is not only a longtime customer but also a close friend of Michi Klemera. Through her in-house traditional costume (trachten) manufactory, she demonstrates that regional thinking and a sustainable philosophy can thrive in the fashion world—values that reflect the very essence of Luis Trenker’s brand. In a lively conversation with Michi Klemera Marianne reveals why, according to her daughter, she can do nothing but “Gwand” (fashion/traditional clothing), the time Michi nearly ended up on the conscience of her brand-new red Alfa, and the challenges she overcame in the early days in rural Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

He is a model, influencer and a real sunny boy: Peter Mairhofer now inspires over 1 million people who follow him on Instagram with his feel-good videos from the Tyrolean mountains. With his positive attitude and infectious laugh, he has even made it onto the American channel ABC, which has caused his fan base in the USA to grow enormously. In conversation with Luis Trenker Retail Manager Rainer Thurnher Walch he reveals why school was particularly difficult for him, how he deals with criticism of his own body, whether he really is always as happy as he appears on social media, and what role his best friend Eddy plays in his life.

Gustav Thöni - the living legend
As a four-time overall World Cup winner, Olympic champion, and world champion, he is rightly considered a living legend: South Tyrolean ski racer Gustav Thöni has had a meteoric career, has been celebrated as a star around the globe, and yet has always kept his feet on the ground. In conversation, he talks about his successes and media hype, the changes in the ski circuit over the decades, and life away from the slopes. The occasion for this episode is the launch of Thöni x Trenker—a limited-edition capsule collection with a retro look, inspired by 1970s ski fashion and created in close collaboration with Gustav Thöni.

Da 14 anni, dal suo studio di design a Bologna, firma le collezioni uomo di Luis Trenker, arricchendo ogni capo con un tocco inconfondibilmente personale. Gionata Malagodi è un designer appassionato, capace di trovare ispirazione in qualsiasi luogo. Nel suo archivio custodisce circa 10.000 capi d’abbigliamento e un’infinità di tessuti, risorse a cui attinge costantemente durante lo sviluppo delle collezioni. Malagodi racconta perché Michi rappresenta alla perfezione lo spirito di Luis Trenker, perché talvolta ha bisogno di essere “frenato” nel suo entusiasmo creativo e perché, in fondo, è così importante continuare a conservare uno sguardo un po’ bambino.

Back in 1924, at the very first Winter Games in Chamonix, Luis Trenker competed for Italy as part of the five-man bobsleigh team Italia 1. The result? A proud 6th place.
