Imposing nature and cultural diversity have been our source of inspiration since the beginning. Not only the wealth of traditions and alpine heritage, but also our close bond with nature and ancient craftsmanship have shaped us and shaped us the way we are.

This interplay of cultures makes our fashion unique and unmistakable. The culinary variety is just as rich as the landscape. The regional cuisine is influenced by German and Italian traditions and offers a variety of delicious specialities. Among the most traditional dishes are Schlutzkrapfen, a type of ravioli filled with spinach and cheese, or dumplings in different variations, served with a savoury sauce or as a soup garnish. High-quality dairy products, including cheeses such as the tangy grey cheese or the famous South Tyrolean speck, which is smoked in a traditional way, are also part of South Tyrol's culinary diversity.

Nature's paradise

South Tyrol is a place for all nature lovers - the region is rich in impressive mountain peaks, deep valleys, splendid lakes and abundant forests. The Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, dominate the landscape with their imposing rock formations. Picturesque vineyards and apple trees stretching along sun-drenched slopes add a special charm. At Luis Trenker, we too are nature lovers and it is our daily duty to protect and preserve the beauty of nature.

I believe that nature and authenticity are closely linked and this is exactly what I have been practising for many years. I can't pretend to be someone I'm not and I've been implementing strategies that companies are now starting to use for years. This is not out of pressure, but because the way I grew up shaped me to behave in this way. Our collections reflect the simplicity of alpine clothing culture with an Italian influence as a result of our personality."
