Rainer on tour: Our shop manager explores the Olympic region Seefeld!

Delicious dumplings and a great panorama: a cosy evening tour to the Sonnenalm.
In order for our shop manager Rainer to be able to show his full commitment every day in the Luis Trenker shop at Seefeld, he needs some compensation from time to time. So it comes as no surprise to him that the surroundings of Seefeld offer countless hiking trails and places to stop for a bite to eat!

So Rainer recently went on an exploration tour with his Dalmatian Paul and discovered the perfect after-work tour for himself: a hike to the panoramic Gschwandtkopf and the Sonnenalm. From the Luis Trenker Shop in the centre of Seefeld, the two walked through the pedestrian zone, passed by the picturesque Seekirchl and to the starting point of their hike, the valley station of the Gschwandtkopf lifts. From there Rainer has chosen the most direct ascent along the ski slope. For the steep ascent, the two are rewarded with fantastic views over the village and the majestic mountain world. A special highlight is a visit to the turquoise blue reservoir lake. The clear water reflects the clouds and the warm sunrays of the evening let the landscape shine. After about forty minutes they have reached their destination, the Sonnenalm, and are rewarded with a few tasty "Kaspressknödel". Thanks to the unique panorama over the whole Seefeld they taste even better on the terrace of the Sonnenalm!

If you don't want to choose the most direct route over the ski slope, but prefer a slightly gentler incline, we recommend the no less panoramic circular route.

Of course Rainer also had the matching outfit ready for the tour: The trousers Bartl and the waistcoat Sebastian from our Classic Collection, in combination with the shirt Bernet and the shoes Paul are perfect for easy, comfortable hikes through the mountains in and around Seefeld. And everything else Rainer needs can be found in our backpack Marcel.

Rainer's conclusion: Seefeld is not only a real insider tip for shopping, but also for hiking! And best of all: If you don't feel like hiking and just want to enjoy the magnificent view, you can take the Gschwandtkopf chairlift next time, which is also in operation in summer.
