In this interpretation, crafted from fine wool flannel, rich navy blue meets soft sage green and warm rust red, while delicate accents in orange and white add a contemporary edge. It is precisely this unexpected interplay of cool and warm tones that gives the pattern its unique character and timeless sophistication.

A classic with an unexpectedly romantic side. Designed exclusively for Luis Trenker, this fabric combines traditional Glen Check with a vintage-inspired floral motif.
The hallmark of Glen Check is its intricate interplay of larger and smaller checks, creating a pattern of remarkable depth and visual interest. Its origins can be traced back to Glen Urquhart in Scotland, where it was worn by gamekeepers in the 19th century before becoming a staple of elegant British tailoring and gaining international recognition as the Prince of Wales Check. Against this storied backdrop, abundant flowers and foliage unfold in shades of warm rust, earthy beige and washed blue-green.
The intentionally nostalgic colour palette evokes the charm of historic textile prints, creating a captivating contrast with the precise geometry of the check. Traditional yet playful, British-inspired yet unmistakably Luis Trenker.

British textile heritage meets luxurious velvet. This opulent print draws inspiration from historic textiles by Sanderson, the renowned London design house founded in 1860, whose rich archive of fabrics and wallpapers has shaped British interior and textile culture for generations.
Set against a warm ochre background, an abundant composition of flowers, leaves and fruit unfolds in all its splendour. Beneath the floral design, a delicate and intentionally irregular check pattern subtly emerges, introducing a graphic structure that balances the richness of the motif. Crafted on soft velvet, the colours gain exceptional depth and luminosity, lending the design an elegant, almost baroque refinement.
